Supporting a Family in their Time of Need

Following the truly tragic earthquakes in Turkey in February, the Foundation has donated a considerable sum to the emergency relief appeal, which is helping a local family recover from the devasting impact of the quake, which measured 7.8 on the Richter scale. The Founders have a connection with the family concerned and were devasted to learn that they suffered human loss of life during the disaster.

Sadly, these natural disasters are beyond anyone’s control and, similar to the Pakistan floods, cause havoc on a massive scale. The loss of human life, homes, and infrastructure is heart breaking, and it is difficult to observe from afar without being deeply touched by the devastating impact these natural disasters have on countries and their populations. The inspiration behind the Foundation is to provide assistance in these situations, and one hopes that the family can start to move forward with the help of the donation.
